Lanky Lucy, assistant manager of the Portersfoote Bunting station refreshment rooms, makes the most amazing bread puddings. Having notched up 100 of these eagerly devoured dishes, she has borrowed the parcels barrow and is seen selling mouthwatering chunks to the passengers of this Great Bunting-bound train while the guard waits patiently, whistle and flag at the ready. Most of pudding No. 100 will no doubt be devoured by the staff of the engine shed and works in the background although one of the porters, who has probably consumed more than his fair share over the years, is already munching happily.
