Clear mapping of North American rail lines, showing both lines in use and those abandoned, together with ownership past and present, stations and terminals. Having been to Florida some years ago, I had to stock this volume in this excellent series and now I know that it was at Auburndale that I photographed the "Silver Meteor" running over one hour late.
Paul Smith and Keith Turner [Publisher: Ian Allan 2016] Hardback 96 pages
An interesting book, fascinating as it allows direct and visual comparison between then and now. Selected photographs of recent developments are included together with enlargements of selected areas. All neatly colour coded and with good location information on surviving features, preserved railways and walking routes.
